Much to celebrate at Bristol Ladies Awards Night

The Bristol Ladies Awards nights was a well-attended event held at Ashton Gate, on Friday May 5, to celebrate a successful ‘16/’17 season in which the team reached the Premiership Final.

Bristol Ladies has grown over the years into one of the country’s foremost clubs in the women’s game, which was highlighted on the night by the 24 current senior, sevens and underage players currently playing for their respective international teams.

Another significant aspect of the Bristol Ladies is that that they have the current England captain and the current World Rugby’s Women’s Player of the Year Sarah Hunter within their ranks. On the night Izzy Noel-Smith was awarded First VX Player of the Year.

The Bristol Ladies have a great relationship with the women’s rugby team at SGS College.

Recent SGS graduate Chantelle Miell (pictured) who played for the England Sevens in Australia earlier this year attended the Bristol Ladies end of season awards nights to celebrate a memorable season with her team-mates.
